We
invite you to visit Roerich Museum situated
in the premises of RCSC, New Delhi. This Museum
was inaugurated on the occasion of 100th Birth
Anniversary of Svetoslav Roerich on 25 October,
2004 by Mr. Somnath Chatterjee, Honorable
Speaker of Parliament of India & delegation
of Moscow's International Roerich Centre.
The creative and scholarly activities of Roerich
family which stayed in India for many years
of their life became a bridge between the
great cultures of India and Russia. It serves
as a wonderful example for the whole humanity
in its efforts to achieve harmony and perfection. |

| The
Museum's display includes documentary photo exhibition
on life and works of Roerich family in Russia and
India; beautiful reproductions of works by Nikolai
and Svetoslav Roerichs; exhibits on scholarly achievements
of this distinguished family at "Uruswati", Institute
of Himalayan Studies founded by them in Himalayan
valley in Naggar, Kullu. |

We
at RCSC, New Delhi also have Roerich Art Club, the
President of which is Surjit Akre, famous Indian
Artist, an alumni of the Institute of Art named
after Ilya Repin, Saint-Petersburg. This Art Club
takes active participation in organizing Art Exhibitions
of both Russian and Indian artists and is also involved
in promotion of bilateral creative exchanges.
