The Institute also offers Specialized Courses* like “Business Russian”, “Written & Spoken Translation”, “Guiding & Escorting”, “Methodology of Teaching Russian” and “Conversational Course”. We also organize Courses (with special fee concession) for University students: “Modern Russian Language: Phonetics, Morphology, Lexicology, Phraseology, Syntax, Theory & Practice of Translation, General Linguistics”; “Russian Literature, including Folklore, Literature of XIX century, Contemporary Russian Literature, Theory of Literature”.
The Institute has the latest Computer-Aided Language Learning Material, Audio-books of Folklore and Russian Classic and Contemporary Writers & Poets. These CD-ROM are extensively used in the classroom.

The Institute regularly organizes lectures, presentations by experts and seminars for students and teachers of Russian Language & Literature.

On successful completion of the Course, a Certificate is issued by Cultural Department, Embassy of Russian Federation in India.

The Institute functions under the aegis of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. Thus the students of our Institute have the opportunity to participate in its academic and cultural activities like seminars, cultural programmes, film shows, Video-library etc.

“CAROUSEL”
STUDENTS FOLK SONGS & DANCE ENSEMBLE

The Institute has a Student's Folk Dance Ensemble named “Carousel” which has been regularly performing Russian Folk songs and dances at RCSC, DU & JNU. Its repertoire has more than 15 famous Russian songs including National Anthem, and five dances.
